Here at waste2energyUK we offer an innovative service that allows even the most complex of recycling methods seem like a basic service. We help food brands recycle their waste in a cost effective, eco friendly, confidential and uncomplicated fashion.

Products deemed fit for destruction are received on our site via FREE collection from the client. The food is then processed through a ‘Atritor’ de-packaging machine. If the packaging is too complex we have a dedicated labour force to help by hand If needed. The materials are then segregated into recycling or energy production.

No food or packaging goes into landfill.

Food waste heading towards energy productions are blended into a form suitable for anaerobic digestion. This process involves micro-organisms that break down biodegradable material in the absence of oxygen creating biogas that can then be used to create energy via an internal combustion machine.
